VOLUNTEER SERVICES

Volunteers play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of North York Seniors Centre (NYSC).

Join us and share you expertise in an instructional role, be a member of a committee, drive seniors to medical appointments or pay a social visit to a homebound senior. The volunteer positions available at the North York Seniors Centre are diverse and fulfilling.

We welcome volunteers age 16 and up. If you are retired, a professional in the community, a student looking to do placement hours, a high school student trying to complete OSSD requirements, temporarily unemployed, or new to Canada looking for some Canadian experience, we value your help, generosity and expertise.

Time commitment for volunteer positions vary depending on the responsibilities of the position. Usually, you will need to commit just a few hours a day, once a week. We do appreciate a minimum 3-month commitment.
