NYSC receives 3-year accreditation from CARF
| May 2, 2019We are delighted to inform you that North York Seniors Centre (NYSC) has been accredited for a period of three years for its Governance, Adult Day Services, Home and Community Services, and Community Integration programs. This is the third accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has awarded to NYSC. By pursuing and achieving accreditation, NYSC has demonstrated that it meets international standards for quality and is committed to pursuing excellence.
This award represents the highest level of accreditation that can be bestowed and shows NYSC’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a three-year accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
Achieving CARF accreditation means NYSC is among the best in the field. We are proud to be a part of this community of excellence. For more information about how NYSC meets those standards visit: www.nyseniors.org/about-nysc/Â
