Are you looking for an opportunity to take a break and have a few hours to yourself while your loved one spends a day with friends in a safe and stimulating environment, then our Adult Day Program (ADP) is right for you.
ADP provides older adults with physical frailties or cognitive challenges an opportunity to socialize, be active and have fun in a safe and caring environment. The day’s activities are led by trained, professional and caring staff who provide personal assistance and ensure everyone has a fun-filled day. Daily activities include:
- Lively group activities
- Light exercise
- Nutritious lunch and snacks
- Special events
- Arts and crafts and so much more
ADP gives caregivers an opportunity to catch up on errands, attend to personal needs or take a much-deserved rest.
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday; 10 am- 3 pm

Social Club
Looking to spend an afternoon with friends?
The Social Club is for older adults who would benefit from social interaction, discussion, exercise and activities within a lightly structured environment.
Here is what your day will include:
| 11 am | A group discussion with light refreshment, 30-minute light exercise class |
| 12 pm – 1 pm | Lunch is served |
| 1 pm – 2 pm | Fun group activity; such as BINGO, origami, travelogue or various seasonal activities. |

Transportation Services
Do you need a ride?
Our friendly, professional and courteous drivers can take you where you need to go. North York Seniors Centre operates a fleet of four well-maintained and comfortable mini vans. We will safely drive you where you need to go. Why not leave the driving to us?
Our services include rides to and from:
- Medical appointments
- Regularly scheduled shopping trips to Centrepoint Mall
- A Day Away Club
- The Active Living Centre
