Did you know that seniors 65+ are one of the fastest-growing populations in our community outnumbering younger ones for the first time in our history? Across Ontario, they are 3 million seniors trying to navigate this phase of life as best as they can. However, they face challenges that together we can help address.

Some of these challenges they shared in an opinion survey conducted by the government Ontario include feeling invisible by almost 50% of participants, being concerned with memory loss (74%), and losing control of their lives as they get older (50%+).

At North York Seniors Centre, we strive to enable our aging population to remain vital, healthy and connected to their community while enhancing the lives of all seniors who need assistance to live safely and independently in their own homes. Join the challenge and help 5,000+ seniors in your community live their best life!
