If you are a member, a client or a volunteer, you can now access our activities via telephone- a free telephone-based program called “Seniors Centre Without Walls”.
The programming platform helps those without internet or computer access to stay connected to their friends, peers and our teams during COVID-19. This audio connection with clients supports other services being delivered by NYSC during the COVID 19 crisis: grocery & medication shopping and delivery, personal support services, telephone reassurance and utilizing social media platforms for virtual programming.
The programs offered are designed to attend NYSC`s members, clients and volunteers who are isolated in any way due to the pandemic. It provides access to programs such as mindful meditation, book club, games, conversation, poetry readings, information workshops and support sessions, or any other programs considered appropriate to be delivered via audio (telephone) conferencing platform.
