Centre provides programs and services to promote the physical.
Emotional and social well-being of adults 55+ living in our diverse community.
Our Programs are offered through four divisions: A Day Away
Assistance to clients with physical frailty, memory impairment, Alzheimer, or
Parkinson’s disease and to their caregivers.
Senior Care Community Dining,
Security Check, Friendly Visiting, Transportation, Case Management, Caregiver
Support and Education, In-Home Respite Care, Home Help/Homemaking, Information
and Referrals.
Active Living Centre Recreational programs for active members 55 years of age and older and Active
Living activities for newly retired or pre-retired adults.
Volunteer Services Volunteer opportunities for all who wish to make a difference in the life of
seniors living in our community.
How to access NYSC
programs and services:
To obtain information on NYSC services is easy. Just
call our Intake Staff at 416-225-1231 who will ask you some information about
the client’s need for service. This initial contact may be made by a
family member, a family doctor or specialist, a lawyer or other community
professional, a neighbour, a community agency, a hospital Social Worker or by
the prospective client.
The Intake Staff will answer your questions and will
direct you to the appropriate Case Coordinator for further assessment and to
help you access services. |
